Arctic Fox

I captured many captivating photos of beautiful animals at zoos and wildlife parks in the Pacific Northwest. The Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma, Washington, and Northwest Wildlife Park in Eatonville, Washington, were particularly special locations. I was fortunate enough to photograph various species, including Arctic Foxes, Bobcats, Polar Bears, Red Wolves,  Sea Otters, and many other species.

One interesting and sad fact about the Red Fox species is that they nearly went extinct in the 1980s, with only about 14 individuals remaining in the wild. However, thanks to the dedicated efforts of zoos and conservation organizations in the United States, particularly through their Extinction program, the Red Wolf population has shown remarkable recovery.
